A Mum at home with her kids. It is talked about so much, but seems to be happening less- most Mums I talk to about homeschooling are in awe of anyone who does it. They use words like patience, sacrifice, commitment, energy, selflessness, devotion. Then confess their lack of these qualities. I know there are days when it is hard but I'm glad you can find the moments that remind you of why.
a good day :^)
A beautiful reminder, for me too.
Its funny you write that because lately I've felt really boxed by people just because we homeschool as if I don't go through the same struggles because I'm supposedly super something. The truth is currently patience:low, sacrifice:in order to be true to myself I must walk this path -its in my mind and heart, commitment:struggling and in constant need of inspiration which is why I read blogs like Camp Creek & read books that reinforce my heart and intuition, energy:near nil, selflessness:is it selfless to do what you know your meant to do?, devotion: all of us mothers are devoted. Hard days we all have them don't we. Sometimes seasons of it. I'm so thankful for your encouraging comments it really does lighten the load. XX S
