Very sad as I have so many great ones to share from the past few eventful weeks.
I am feeling very blog unhappy.
Oh well..seasons.
Truth is I am walking a very thin line.I am desperately lacking in sleep & finding it hard to keep all the plates spinning.I have to let some drop but not the real important ones.
We are going to live simply over the next few weeks...
exploring local parks( with yummies in hand of course)
nature collecting & drawing our finds in sketchbooks
reading-the baskets are all full of our topic of interest-middle ages/birds/nature/letter of the week/space/etc
lots of hands on play ie building,creating,story making
making books-8y0b has put together a bunch of books he is in the process of illustrating for baby sister
drawing using different mediums-even 'mumma's special pencils'
reading-our current chapter books,bedtime books,poetry at teatime & anything else that makes it's way in to their hands
and of course mediating because this is what I spend a fair bit of time doing at the moment
Learning-they do it without even realising. Learning to read,to investigate, to get along & I'm learning along with them.
So here's to keeping it simple!!

There are different seasons in our life... Thank you for being honest and sharing with us. You don't need to have all the plates spinning. As a beautiful friend of mine once said, "it doesn't matter". I think you are an amazing wife, mother and friend. Your family are very blessed to have you. Love you. XX
If you need any help with blogger let me know, I may or may not be able to help, but mostly it's a problem with the server and the next time you try it comes right (esp with mac try using firefox as your web browser instead of safari as safari isn't that compatible with blogger). When my exam is done we'll get coffee!
