Good days.

What makes a good day?The children weren't any better behaved,I certainly didn't get everything I wanted to done but looking back on the day I feel it was a great day. Perhaps 5mog having good sleeps & being settled made the difference.Giving me the room to play place value games with 7yob & respond to 4yob's need for cuddles on the lounge.Or perhaps it was taking the time to enjoy & laugh when 6yog danced with ribbons for her baby sister whilst she sat on 4yob's lap or walking through the park on a beautiful spring afternoon & watching the children run ahead & frolic with each-other not caring how loud they're being or how bouncy.Enjoying cups of tea with friends & listening to the details of their lives knowing that we are all on a journey that has darkness & light.Looking forward to more...

Needed to read your musings today as I can't seem to get anything started...Thank you for the reminder that a day's success isn't about getting stuff done but seeing the beauty in the moments God gives me if I'm still enough to see them! So great to journey with you... you are such an inspiration!!

It Is so hard to be still sometimes, especially in the midst of noise & to do lists.Yesterday I had a shocker & today again felt weary & overwhelmed...the seasons of life can be so full on.
I hope you many 'good days' ahead on this new journey your on.

It certainly is good to be reminded it's not about what we get done, but the journey itself!

Today was one of those days where all the plans were changed and I spent over 5 hours at the hospital. Not exactly the way i thought we would celebrate my beautiful daughter's birthday. Sad the plans had to be cancelled tonight too for her surprise but I am so thankful for 2 beautiful children and the incredible opportunity God has given me to homeschool them. I couldn't imagine it any other way.
